Who Do You Serve Here?

“Who do you serve here? Is it people who have gotten on in their years?”

This is a question we often get, and love the opportunity to clarify something important.

While many of our services are suitable for a wide range of ages – we welcome ALL of you! One of the driving factors for bringing this center to the Midwest was to provide innovative ways for those who refuse to let ‘age’ become their limiting factor.

Are you that person? Have you sought solutions for chronic pain/stiffness, fatigue or
low energy, dizziness, mood changes, sleep issues, and been told:

  • “That’s just part of getting older”
  • “It’s normal for your age – maybe try to take it easier”
  • “Well, that’s just what happens when you age, maybe it’s time for a different type
    of activity.”

Regardless of where you may currently ‘feel’ aging happening. We want to help you stay or get back to those activities that light you up. Whether you are:

  • The weekend warrior crushing HYROX competitions, tackling half or full marathons, or pushing your limits on the trails.
  • The parent, grandparent who wants to keep up, or even outpace, the kids on the field, court, or playground.
  • The professional running a business determined to stay mentally sharp, energized and at the top of your game for decades to come.

How Our LED Bed Helps

One of the ways to do that is to use our LED bed. And you may be thinking, “yeah, I know about red light therapy.”

You’re not wrong…but it goes a bit further.

What’s interesting is this type of technology is not new, and it’s not just used in wellness centers. More and more college and professional athletic programs are incorporating light therapy into their recovery protocols to help athletes heal faster and stay in the game.

In fact, A 2016 pilot study on university athletes found that 830 nm LED phototherapy reduced average return-to-play time from about 19 days to 9.6 days across a range of injuries, nearly cutting recovery time in half. Perhaps that’s why the U of I top athletes spend so much time in the University’s recovery center!

Most of us aren’t training for the next championship, yet if this level of support is trusted for high-performing athletes, why wouldn’t you use it to support your everyday strength, energy, and recovery, right here in your own backyard?

AND even more important…our LED bed is designed to allow your body to benefit from multiple layers of support working together at the same time. Rather than isolating one type of light, your body is supported by red, blue, and far infrared simultaneously, each working in its own way, but together creating an environment your body can use to recover, restore, and function at a higher level.

And from there, you can personalize your session even further by layering in specific frequency settings based on what your body may need most that day.

  • Red Light – suggested for repair and rejuvenation it helps with cellular vitality, reducing inflammation and promotes faster healing either post injury or bouncing back after an intense athletic event. It also helps skin tone and elasticity and reducing fine lines/wrinkles.
  • Blue Light – has been shown to provide strong antibacterial/viral properties creating strength in the upper layer to fight infection and repair tissues faster. Helps with acne, inflammation and smoothing the overall texture of the skin.
  • Far infrared – studies show this deep-penetrating light helps improve blood flow, enhance detoxification, relieves muscle tension/stiffness, reduce chronic pain and supports overall relaxation and recovery.

Working together, these lights support your body on multiple levels at once, helping create the kind of environment where recovery and restoration can happen more naturally.

Frequency Options too!?
Layering in a frequency during your session allows you to personalize the experience even further based on what your body may need most that day.

Some of the most common reasons people choose specific frequencies include support for:

  • Energy and circulation
  • Nervous system balance and stress
  • Focus and mental clarity
  • Hormone and cellular support
  • Muscle, joint, and connective tissue recovery
  • Brain balancing

Combining light and frequency supports your body in a way that goes beyond what you can consciously “try” to fix.

Many people leave their session feeling lighter, more relaxed, and more like themselves again.

And sometimes, we hear clients talking about feedback they get “You’re walking taller.”

Take a Spin in the Theta Chamber

taking a spin inside the theta chamber

Pat takes you inside the Theta Chamber, a unique therapeutic experience designed to balance serotonin and dopamine levels in the brain while helping to reroute negative neural pathways.

Evett assists Pat by placing clips on her ears and positioning glasses over her eyes, which flash lights as part of the treatment. The experience begins with calming tones that resonate with her inner voice tones, and while the pod simulates a spinning sensation initially, it quickly subsides, allowing her to relax.

Despite Pat’s claustrophobia, the emergency button provides comfort, though she’s grown more at ease with each session.

The Theta Pod is used to alleviate stress, PTSD, and even addiction.

Pat said by the end of her 30 minute session, the transformation she feels in her body is indescribable.

Join Pat as she disconnects from the world and immerses herself in this powerful healing experience.

Part 2

Pat’s Theta Chamber session is ending and guess what? The whole time, the pod was spinning, but she didn’t feel a thing – just calm and relaxation.

From stress relief to mental clarity, there’s so much the Theta Chamber (also called the Theta Bed or Theta Pod) can do.

Curious? Come take a spin and find your zen here at Advanced Innergy.

Dreaming Through Summer: Your Guide to Restful Nights

Summer Rest

As we say so long to the longest day of the year, we recognize that it’s easy to lose track of time and find ourselves staying up later than usual. Do you do that too?  If you do you are not alone, 36% of Americans report feeling groggy due to insufficient sleep, with summer exacerbating this feeling.  Factors like extended daylight hours and scorching temperatures above 90 degrees can throw off your internal clock (fondly known as your circadian rhythm)—and leave you feeling depleted.

You may even find that you are eating dinner at 8:00 at night thinking it was 5:00 somewhere.  Not to worry it happens to the best of us! Balancing summer fun with getting enough sleep can be tricky, but no need to worry—we have some tips to help you out 😊

At Home Tips:

Sleep zzz

  • Maintain a Consistent Sleep Schedule: Try to stick to your usual sleep routine, even with the sun shining late. Use eye covers or blackout shades to keep your body clock in sync and support melatonin production naturally.
  • Digital Detox Before Bed: Give yourself at least an hour without screens before bedtime. This practice enhances melatonin production and improves your ability to fall asleep and stay asleep throughout the night.
  • Keep Your Bedroom Cool: Lower temperatures at night can aid sleep quality. This tip is especially beneficial for menopausal or peri-menopausal women who may experience temperature fluctuations during the night. Try incorporating cooling sheets or pillowcases.
