The Brain Booster: Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy

Ever have those days where your thoughts feel foggy, focus slips away, or you’re just a step behind mentally—no matter how much you rest? You’re not alone, and you don’t have to accept it as “just normal life.” Your brain is incredibly resilient and, with the right support, you can feel sharper, clearer, and more energized at any age.

That’s why we want to spotlight how Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy (HBOT) has become one of our most-requested brain boosters. It’s gentle, non-invasive, and can help you restore mental clarity from the inside out.

How Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy Supercharges Brain Power

Imagine this: you’re relaxing in a calm, spa-like chamber while your brain gets the gift of extra oxygen. This isn’t just a luxury – it’s a science-backed strategy that helps your mind function at its very best. Here are five key ways that HBOT can help:

  1. Sharpens Mental Clarity
By increasing oxygen flow to brain cells, HBOT helps clear brain fog, boost focus, and improve thinking speed. Many people walk out feeling more alert and mentally refreshed.
  2. Supports Faster Brain Recovery
Whether from concussion, injury, or daily stress, your brain depends on oxygen to heal. HBOT can speed up cellular repair, reduce swelling, and support recovery after mental or physical strain.
  3. Reduces Stress & Calms Inflammation
Inflammation is a hidden culprit behind mood swings, forgetfulness, and slow thinking. Extra oxygen soothes inflammation, calming your mind and lifting your mood.
  4. Fuels Better Sleep & Mood
Better-oxygenated brains rest easier. Many report deeper, more restorative sleep and a brighter mood after a few sessions, thanks to improved neurotransmitter balance and nervous system calm.
  5. Improves Focus & Resilience
HBOT helps restore communication between your brain’s nerve cells, increasing resilience to everyday stress and distractions so you can tackle life with more clarity.

What Happens During a Session?

It’s simple and relaxing. You’ll recline comfortably while breathing pure oxygen in our walk-in chamber. Sessions last 30–60 minutes – perfect for a recharge before or after a busy day. Many clients enjoy listening to music, reading, scrolling their phone, or even catching a nap during treatment. Curious about the experience? 4 Ways Nature Helps Us Spring Into Wellness

As spring unfolds, nature offers us profound lessons in renewal and resilience. The changing seasons remind us that growth and transformation are natural parts of life. Here’s how nature can inspire and heal us:

The Healing Properties of Nature

1. Stress Reduction:

a. Spending time in nature has been shown to lower cortisol levels, reducing stress and promoting relaxation. A simple walk in the park or a moment of mindfulness in a garden can rejuvenate the mind and body.

2. Boosted Immunity:

a. Exposure to natural environments can enhance immune function. The fresh air, sunlight, and diverse ecosystems contribute to overall well-being, helping the body fend off illness.

3. Mental Clarity:

a. Nature encourages mindfulness and presence. The sights, sounds, and scents of the natural world can clear mental fog, enhance focus, and foster creativity.

4. Emotional Balance:

a. Connecting with nature can elevate mood and reduce symptoms of anxiety and depression. The beauty and tranquility of natural settings provide a sense of peace and grounding.

A Story of Resilience
Consider the story of the mighty oak tree. Each spring, it sheds its old leaves and grows new ones, symbolizing renewal and growth. Despite harsh winters and storms, the oak stands strong, its roots deep and its branches reaching for the sky. This resilience teaches us that even in challenging times, we have the strength to grow and thrive.

Hydrate – Winter is dry. For your organs to function properly they need water. Find a clean water source, spring water if you must do bottles, and make sure you are getting at least ½ your body weight in ounces of water each day. If you don’t drink water now work up to that amount adding a little more each day!

Breathe – practice deep diaphragm breathing. It is like a workout for the inside of your body and will help with stress and digestion. Want help? Reply to this email and we will send you a link to a tutorial

Good Food – Fresh produce can be harder to find in some climates, but frozen is a more nutritious option than canned. Pay attention to how your body responds—some “good” foods may still cause stress. If certain meals leave you feeling off, review what you ate. Need help decoding your body’s signals? Connect with Julie Drake for deep-dive coaching opportunities.

Wellness Wanderer? Your Oasis of Support is Here

 Oasis

Being stuck in your quest for wellness can sometimes feel frustrating and isolating. Many of us have experienced the cycle of searching for solutions to chronic issues, stepping out of the box and finding little or no support from family or friends who don’t understand the holistic world.

It’s ok you are not alone.

We get it. Because, really sometimes it feels like people just don’t understand the value of the work we do here at Advanced Innergy. And while we love and appreciate our community, it can be a bit disheartening when they don’t fully grasp what we offer.

That’s why we wanted to share a few tidbits with you that we wish everyone knew and answer some common questions people ask in the holistic space.

Why Traditional Approaches May Fall Short

Traditional medicine plays an important role.  However, for some the approach of managing symptoms rather than addressing the underlying causes of chronic conditions keeps people on a hamster wheel of temporary fix but no long-term solution.  However, on the holistic side it is more about achieving balance in all aspects of life to get to the root cause of an issue.

  • Physical
  • Mental
  • Emotional

Our approach

Our approach recognizes that every ‘body’ is unique, and therefore, healing journeys can be just as individual. We understand that:

  • Healing times may vary from person to person
  • Effective approaches can differ for each individual

That’s why we offer not only the initial consultations but also communicate with our clients throughout their journey to wellness or peak performance to ensure they are maximizing the resources we have at our center and also referring them to other resources in our community and beyond.

And, did you know that alternative treatments are on the rise? Various studies such as Grandview Research and PR Newswire among some show that alternative treatments are on the rise with alternative medicine valued at $82.27 billion in 2020 and is projected to reach $404.66 billion by 2028?

Health Savings

Question: “Is this covered by insurance?”

While we do not take insurance at the center, we do offer several ways to help spread out payments for our services.

  • 6-months no interest low payments
  • HSA (Health Savings Account)
  • Care Credit Coming Soon

Fun Fact: Check with your accountant to see if you are eligible to write off your holistic care, many have found that to be the case.

Question: “Do you have hours outside of M-F 9-5?, It’s hard to find time to come in”

While we do offer special request after hours appointments for those who absolutely cannot make these times work, let me ask you a question…

Do you see your doctor during these times?  You only get one body.  We are here to provide solutions to maximize your body’s natural healing ability and ensure you are at your peak!

But please do call or message us if out of hours times are necessary to get you the help that you need.

Question: “Why am I not 100% better in a week/month?”

Some people are disheartened when the holistic approach doesn’t resolve their problems within a few treatments. This is not to say some of our clients don’t experience relief quickly depending on the extent and root cause of their problem. But, with others it does take time.  Remember your problem didn’t appear overnight and very likely, by the time you noticed symptoms, it had been brewing in your body for some time.

Part of why is that holistic approaches aim to solve the problem at the root and that root could take you in a variety of different directions. What we have found is that there are clues along the way and, if you stick with it, you will not only get the initial result you are looking for it often has longer lasting effects than that traditional method that masks symptoms for a time but never really addresses the core problem.

We, at Advanced Innergy, have tools to help you become a great detective and find clues that your body is getting better a step at a time.

And did you know that what you do while you are at the center is important but just as important is what you do when you are home.  That’s why you must check out what we are launching in September!
