Summer Rest

Dreaming Through Summer: Your Guide to Restful Nights

Summer Rest

As we say so long to the longest day of the year, we recognize that it’s easy to lose track of time and find ourselves staying up later than usual. Do you do that too?  If you do you are not alone, 36% of Americans report feeling groggy due to insufficient sleep, with summer exacerbating this feeling.  Factors like extended daylight hours and scorching temperatures above 90 degrees can throw off your internal clock (fondly known as your circadian rhythm)—and leave you feeling depleted.

You may even find that you are eating dinner at 8:00 at night thinking it was 5:00 somewhere.  Not to worry it happens to the best of us! Balancing summer fun with getting enough sleep can be tricky, but no need to worry—we have some tips to help you out 😊

At Home Tips:

Sleep zzz

  • Maintain a Consistent Sleep Schedule: Try to stick to your usual sleep routine, even with the sun shining late. Use eye covers or blackout shades to keep your body clock in sync and support melatonin production naturally.
  • Digital Detox Before Bed: Give yourself at least an hour without screens before bedtime. This practice enhances melatonin production and improves your ability to fall asleep and stay asleep throughout the night.
  • Keep Your Bedroom Cool: Lower temperatures at night can aid sleep quality. This tip is especially beneficial for menopausal or peri-menopausal women who may experience temperature fluctuations during the night. Try incorporating cooling sheets or pillowcases.

Find Moments to Relax: Summer can be hectic with family gatherings, sports events, and work retreats. Take time to unwind—whether it’s curling up with a book in a hammock, floating in the pool, or even releasing stress on the pickleball court or the golf course!

Lyme’s Deceptive Nature

Lyme disease is notorious for mimicking symptoms of other conditions like MS, fibromyalgia, RA, and even Hashimoto’s, making proper diagnosis challenging. While you may expect to see the classic bullseye rash, it has been found that many people with this condition just experience a range of physical symptoms that can lead even the most skilled medical professionals down unexpected paths. However, navigating this complexity with patience and perseverance can eventually lead to relief.

Lyme-joint painIf you’ve been experiencing symptoms like swelling and joint pain, muscle discomfort, poor short-term memory, sleep disruptions, stiffness often labeled as arthritis, or nerve pain, you’re likely on a frustrating journey to uncover the underlying cause of your discomfort. But fear not, there are holistic tools and therapies available to help alleviate symptoms and support your journey to wellness.

Holistic Tools

Tools such as bio resonance devices can identify patterns associated with Lyme and its related co-infections. They do this by detecting energetic disturbances indicative of pathogens, toxins, and other stressors associated with Lyme disease, even before physical symptoms manifest or when conventional testing methods may yield inconclusive results. Bio resonance scans provide valuable insights into your body’s overall energetic balance.

We are a complex layered being. To fight an illness like Lyme, it’s important to address not only the physical but also the emotional and mental aspects of your well-being. Some suggestions are:

• Strengthen Your Immune System – There are so many ways to strengthen your immune system. To name just a few implement a supplement regimen that includes vitamins and minerals like vitamin C, vitamin D, and zinc can bolster your body’s defenses. Especially when we are stressed our bodies need more minerals. If you feel like you are already doing this but your body is just not responding there may be a deeper issue to uncover and we can help.

• Move your Lymph System – there are various at home methods to stimulate the lymphatic system and ensure that toxins are moving out of your body. If you need assistance in finding some good sources message us and we can assist.

Options At the Center

Here at Advanced Innergy we have several ways to help you if you suspect or have had a Lyme diagnosis or if any of the symptoms highlighted here have had you chasing diagnosis after diagnosis.

Lyme-LED Therapy

LED Therapy (Red, Blue, and Infrared Lights) The combination of our lights and frequencies put your body into a relaxed state able to reset a lot of the turmoil going on under the surface. Using our LED bed can help with building the immune system, reducing oxidative stress in your cells and reducing pain and inflammation. All will help with Lyme flareups.

Presso Therapy helps move your lymph system and move the blood in your body which aids in your body’s natural detoxification process and helps alleviate those pesky Lyme symptoms you may be feeling.

Lyme-Hyperbaric oxygen therapy (HBOT)

Hyperbaric oxygen therapy (HBOT) delivers high concentrations of oxygen to tissues. Lyme loves to live in low oxygen areas of the body. Combat this by using the hyperbaric chamber which is known to enhance immune function, reduce inflammation, and promote tissue repair all of which can help you combat the effects of Lyme disease.

PEMF is used to reduce pain and also calm the nervous system. Our mat has roaming PEMF which keeps your body at full attention while stimulating it to begin healing those weak areas of inflammation that Lyme loves to attach to.

The Vibe Plate is a powerful tool for promoting circulation, increasing muscle strength, and improving balance and coordination. Hop on this machine to help your body strengthen. A strong host is a less attractive place for things like Lyme to hang out in.

Lyme-Hydrogen Treatment

Hydrogen treatment sit back, relax and just breathe. Your body will do the rest. In our relaxation suite you can breathe in hydrogen while you read a book, close your eyes, or chat with someone nearby. The choice is yours. As you breathe your body takes in that hydrogen and you leave feeling amazing and knowing that the stress inside the cells has been reduced, often brain fog is alleviated and the antioxidant benefit will continue to work even after you leave.

Lyme-rTMS

rTMS (Repetitive Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation) chronic illness or frustration over misdiagnosed symptoms leads to frustration and mental exhaustion let alone can produce feelings of anxiety and depression. Using our rTMS will help retrain the brain’s neuro pathways using targeted magnets. Use at the same time as the hydrogen or by itself.

The Theta Chamber creates a tranquil environment conducive to helping you with relaxation and stress reduction. While you take a spin in the chamber your brain enters the theta state. This state of the brain is conducive to change. This machine will promote deep relaxation, enhances mood, and supports your emotional well-being while making new, healthy pathways of information for your brain to navigate this journey to wellness you are on.

Our comprehensive approach addresses not only your physical symptoms but also aids your emotional and mental wellbeing as you progress through your healing journey providing a path towards greater joy and vitality.

We invite you to visit our wellness center for a tour and experience firsthand the transformative power of our innovative treatments. Take the next step on your journey to wellness and discover how Advanced Innergy can help you thrive.
